While the first guests start their day early on the summit, things are more relaxed a few hundred metres lower down. The Host serves us his well-known cheese toast. Enjoy a coffee on the sun terrace of the mountain lodge and keep an eye out for ibex, chamois and mountain hares.

At the end of the tunnel, not only light awaits you, but also the chairlift, which will take you down to the Eisee mountain lodge.

How do I get to the Eisee ?

From Sörenberg, you can reach the Brienzer Rothorn in around 7 minutes by the aerial cableway.

Then take a 4-5 minute walk through the connecting tunnel to reach the Eisee chairlift station.

The chairlift takes you down to Lake Eisee.
