Mountain jewel Eisee

While the first guests at the summit start their day bright and early, it’s a little quieter just a few metres below. Step into the cosy parlour, where host Samuel Bernhard greets you with his famous cheese toastie. Take a break from hiking and enjoy a coffee on the sun terrace of the Berghaus Eisee mountain lodge.

Berghaus Eisee

A simple selection of food and drinks is available in the cosy hut. Overnight guests can enjoy a starry night in the middle of the hiking area.

 

Chairlift lake Eisee

At the end of the tunnel, not only light awaits you, but also the chairlift, which will take you up to the Eisee mountain lodge.

How do I get to the Eisee ?

  • From Sörenberg, you can reach the Brienzer Rothorn in around 7 minutes by the aerial cableway.

  • Then take a 4-5 minute walk through the connecting tunnel to reach the Eisee chairlift station.

  • The chairlift takes you down to Lake Eisee. 

  • Operating hours:
    09:45 – 12:30
    13:30 – 16:30
    → Every Saturday and Sunday, additional service at 8:45
