The early bird catches the worm, or in our case, the first rays of sunshine on the Brienzer Rothorn. If you've never been to the highest peak in Lucerne at sunrise, you should definitely put this experience on your bucket list. After the sunrise, fortify yourself with a delicious breakfast at the Rothorn summit restaurant.

Important information:
The final decision on whether to go ahead is made the day before (Saturday). From 4.30 p.m., this website will communicate whether the cable car will take place. You can also obtain information by calling this number: +41 41 488 15 60.
The Eisee chairlift will not operate earlier on sunrise rides. You can find the operating times for the Eisee chairlift here.

The kitchen opens 30 minutes after the arrival of the first cable car. For breakfast, the kitchen is open for two hours after sunrise.
Reservation for breakfast is mandatory.
