Sunrise on the Brienzer Rothorn
The early bird catches the worm, or in our case, the first rays of sunshine on the Brienzer Rothorn. If you've never been to the highest peak in Lucerne at sunrise, you should definitely put this experience on your bucket list. After the sunrise, fortify yourself with a delicious breakfast at the Rothorn summit restaurant.
Important information:
The final decision on whether to go ahead is made the day before (Saturday). From 4.30 p.m., this website will communicate whether the cable car will take place. You can also obtain information by calling this number: +41 41 488 15 60.

Prices
The Magic Pass, the Sörenberg Card und the Entlebucher Yearcard 24/25 are NOT valid for the sunrise rides. Tickets for the sunrise rides are available in our Webshop or from the ticket machines. Please note that cash payment is not possible at the ticket machine. Debit cards and Twint are accepted at the ticket machines.

The kitchen opens 30 minutes after the arrival of the first cable car. Breakfast service ends at 10:00 am.
Reservation for breakfast is mandatory.

Our favorite color? Sunset! In October you have the Brienzer Rothorn to yourself for a little longer. Enjoy the evening hours on Lucerne's highest mountain and the colorful spectacle of Mother Nature.

No special ticket is required for the additional ride. The regular cabel car ticket and the Magic Pass are valid for these evening trips.
