Sunrise on the Brienzer Rothorn
The early bird catches the worm, or in our case, the first rays of sunshine on the Brienzer Rothorn. If you've never been to the highest peak in Lucerne at sunrise, you should definitely put this experience on your bucket list. After the sunrise, fortify yourself with a delicious breakfast at the Rothorn summit restaurant.
🎶 The dawn is now accompanied by the traditional sounds of the alphorn.
Important information:
The final decision on whether to go ahead is made the day before (Saturday). From 4.30 p.m., this website will communicate whether the cable car will take place. You can also obtain information by calling this number: +41 41 488 15 60.

The Magic Pass, SBB Junior Card | SBB Grandchild Card and the Sörenberg Card are NOT valid for the sunrise rides. Tickets for the sunrise rides are available in our Webshop or from the ticket machines. Please note that cash payment is not possible at the ticket machine. Debit cards and Twint are accepted at the ticket machines.

The kitchen opens 30 minutes after the arrival of the first cable car. The kitchen is open for breakfast for two hours.
Reservation for breakfast is mandatory.
