Moorworld

The Sörenberg moorlands are a unique ecosystem with remarkable flora and fauna. Rare plants such as cotton grass, sundew, and orchids thrive in the vast moor landscapes. These raised bogs – part of the UNESCO Entlebuch Biosphere Reserve – provide vital habitats for numerous bird species, amphibians, and insects. Protecting this fragile landscape is of great importance, and visitors are invited to explore it respectfully and enjoy its tranquil, magical atmosphere.
