The avalanche bulletin is essential for winter sports enthusiasts who venture off marked slopes, such as freeriders. If you are planning to go off-piste, please make sure to check the latest local avalanche conditions and weather information before setting out.
General Information: If there is any avalanche risk in the area of the marked slopes, those runs will be immediately closed by our staff for your safety. As long as you stay on marked and open slopes, you are not in a danger zone.
Bergbahnen Sörenberg AG (Sörenberg Cableways) obtains the avalanche bulletin directly from the SLF (Swiss Federal Institute for Forest, Snow and Landscape Research WSL). The same legal conditions as stated on www.slf.ch apply.
Sörenberg Cableways does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of the content and information provided. The SLF specifically notes that the avalanche bulletin contains a forecast of avalanche danger. By its nature, forecasts may not always be accurate. Using SLF information in no way relieves individuals of the responsibility to assess the avalanche situation on-site and to act accordingly.
Avalanche danger represents a life-threatening risk. Anyone venturing off secured slopes or touring in winter terrain exposes themselves to avalanche danger and accepts the risk and responsibility for any damages or injuries resulting from an avalanche. In secured areas, the instructions of local safety authorities must be followed.
Lawinengefahr bedeutet Lebensgefahr.
Sörenberg Cableways disclaims all liability for direct or indirect, material or immaterial damages resulting from access to, use of, or failure to use the published information, from misuse of the connection, or from technical malfunctions. All claims for compensation against Sörenberg Cableways are explicitly excluded.
