Just below the Brienzer Rothorn, the Mountain Lodge Eisee is located at 1,900 meters above sea level. Step inside this rustic mountain lodge, where host Samuel Bernhard will welcome you with his famous cheese toast. Take a break from skiing and enjoy a coffee on the sun terrace of the mountain lodge Eisee. If you want to stay a little longer, you can settle into a shared or double room.

From Sörenberg, you can reach the Brienzer Rothorn in around 7 minutes by cable car.
Then take a 4-5 minute walk through the connecting tunnel to reach the Eisee chairlift station.
With skis on your feet, you head down to the Eisee.
In winter, pedestrians are not transported on the chairlift, except for overnight guests (upon request).
Free arrival and departure by public transport
You can reach us easily and comfortably by public transport. For stays of two nights or more, you will receive a public transport ticket for your arrival and departure within Switzerland. This not only makes your arrival and departure comfortable, but also the first highlight of your trip.
Winter events
The scenic ski slopes start right outside the door of the mountain lodge Eisee. The chairlift will take you to the summit in just a few minutes, or you can venture straight onto the valley run, one of the six steepest descents in Europe.
Please note that pedestrians cannot be transported on the chairlift in winter. (Overnight guests are exempt!)

Mountain Lodge Eisee
What a wonderful feeling it is to strap on your skis right outside the door after breakfast and glide across the untouched, freshly groomed slopes. Simple but cozy shared and double rooms are available for overnight guests. Book your room via our online shop.
Please bring a sleeping bag and slippers for your stay. Only the double room (Steinbock room) is equipped with bed linen and towels.
In addition to board games, a foosball table and a TV corner are available.
Out of consideration for guests with allergies and for the comfort of all visitors, we unfortunately cannot allow dogs in our mountain lodge. Thank you for your understanding.
In the event of a short-term cancellation (up to 7 days before arrival), a cancellation fee of 50% will be charged. Cancellations on the day of arrival are not possible.
Pets are not allowed in Berghaus Eisee.
Berghaus Eisee is a partner of the SörenbergCard. Starting from one overnight stay, the SörenbergCard entitles you to free use of the Rossweid, Rothorn and Eisee mountain lifts during summer.
