What better way to start the day than with a summit brunch on Lucerne's highest mountain? Afterwards, chug leisurely down to Brienz on the nostalgic steam train. Optionally, you can travel on to Interlaken by boat.

The summit brunch takes place from June 8 to October 23, 2026, from Monday to Friday, whatever the weather. Arrival with the Brienzer Rothorn aerial cableway is possible from 08.30 a.m., with trips every 20 minutes.

The brunch is open from 08.40 am and closes at 10.30 am. The group is welcome to linger a little longer afterwards. The brunch offer includes a hot drink, fruit juice, bread and croissants, jam, cheese, meat and yoghurt.

The return journey by steam train to Brienz takes place at 11.15 a.m. The steam train arrives at the valley station of the Brienz Rothorn Railway at 12.20 p.m.
