The mountains welcome everyone – regardless of their individual abilities. If you dream of skiing or learning to snowboard, a disability is no barrier to making that dream come true. With customised equipment and personal support, you have every opportunity to enjoy snow sports to the fullest. Our experienced team will help you find your own path onto the slopes.
Wheelchair Sport Switzerland, a division of the Swiss Paraplegic Association (SPA), offers mono and dual skibob courses as well as TetraSki courses in Sörenberg throughout the winter season. Instruction is provided on a one-to-one basis. The course fee includes private instruction, equipment, lift pass and lunch. Detailed information and the online registration form can be found at the link below. Course places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Parking spaces are reserved for course participants at the valley station of the Rossweid gondola lift. Please use only these designated spaces. The official wheelchair parking spaces are reserved for wheelchair users who are not attending courses. Please display your disabled parking permit clearly so that parking staff can direct you quickly and efficiently.
A heated equipment room for adjusting gear and storing personal belongings is available at the mountain station of the Rossweid gondola lift. It is accessible exclusively to course participants and their companions.
Participants in the mono and dual skibob courses can reserve lunch places for their accompanying persons at the Rossweid restaurant.
Ski passes for course participants will be arranged according to their registration (and are included in the course fee). Ski passes for accompanying persons can easily be purchased online.
